Equine Kingdom Newsletter - September 15, 2009

Equine Kingdom News 9/15/2009

Hi Everyone!

Guess it's been a while since I've sent out a newsletter! Hope this finds everyone well. Just a few things on the agenda:

There's a show on October 17, 2009 at the Piedmont Saddle Club. If you want to go, let me know. I'm only taking a limited number of students, and I can't let you know for absolutely sure if you can go or not until I find out what classes are in the show. I'll do that ASAP though. If you want to show, you'll need to ride at least the two weeks before the show, no exceptions.

Enoch and Prissy will most likely be up for lease again at the end of September (beginning in October). Terri Greene (Enoch's current owner) and I are trying to work out my purchasing him by the end of the month, but it remains to be seen if that works out or not. Leasing is $100/month and three people can lease each horse. If you lease a horse, you will get two days a week to ride/spend with your leased horse. That includes equipment - leasers are welcome to use my equipment (saddles, bridles, etc) as long as you take care of it and put it back correctly.

I am having laser eye surgery on Monday, September 21, 2009. Because of that, I will NOT BE TEACHING on Monday the 21st. There is a good chance I won't be teaching on Tuesday the 22nd, too. Let's plan on me NOT teaching that day, and we'll reschedule both Monday and Tuesday lessons. Wednesday and Friday are available for lessons, as well as Saturday. Please let me know what other day you're available to reschedule.

For those of you that are worried about the move in January to another farm, and the distance of the farm thereof, please rest easy in the fact that we are searching for a farm closer to Greensboro (Reidsville/Summerfield area), rather than going all the way to Asheboro. Please pray for guidance and grace in this endeavor as we search for the perfect property. Thanks so much!!

One more thing - check out the website for new updates and awesome designs, courtesy of my father (Kirt Blattenberger) who is updating and re-vamping my website! www.EquineKingdom.com

Blessings,
Sally A. Nolte
