The Eleia horse is also known as the Andrivida horse, or Ilia horse. It originates from Greece in the Ilia region. It was created by crossing native stock with Anglo-Norman stock in the early 20th century. The breed was then crossed with Nonius stallions after the 1920s. This breed of horse is nearly extinct.
