The Montana Travler, often spelled Traveler, is a new breed developed in Montana by Tom Eaton. He had been developing the breed for more than fifty years with extensive interbreeding of the Tennessee Walked, American Saddlebred, Thoroughbred, Morgan, and Hamiltonian horse breeds.
