- Spanish Anglo-Arab -

The Spanish Anglo-Arab, also known as the Hispano Anglo-Arab, is also known as the Peninsula horse. It has a mixture of Iberian, Thoroughbred, and Arabian blood and has strong Arabian characteristics, although it has a slightly higher action than an Arabian or even an Anglo-Arab. The Spanish Anglo-Arab usually stands between 14.3 hh and 16 hh, and is typically bay, gray, or chestnut. Because of its characteristic agility and bravery, this spirited and graceful breed is often used to test and herd young fighting bulls, although it is also popular as a showing horse for dressage and jumping.
