There is evidence that the Paso Peruano
and the Peruvian Paso are one and the same horse, but since I cannot
find any real information on the subject, here is what I know about
the Paso Peruano. It originated in Peru, but is now found all over
the world. They stand 14.2 to 15.2 hands high at the withers, and
they are of average build. They can be any solid color, and they
are calm and alert at the same time. They are used as riding horses
because they are alert, resistant to disease, and very hard-working.
